Rebar mesh, our flagship product, is manufactured in accordance with the European standard EN 10080:2005 in grade B500A.
Welded rebar mesh is produced from ribbed steel wire with a diameter of 4 mm to 10 mm, drawn from hot-rolled wire by a cold-rolling process which increases its tensile strength (as shown in the table).
Two main types of mesh are produced:
• R mesh – wires cross in a rectangular pattern, with the longitudinal wires as the load-bearing direction
• Q mesh – wires cross in a square pattern, with both longitudinal and transverse wires load-bearing
The standard width and length of rebar mesh is 6000 mm × 2150 mm.
Thanks to the high flexibility of our equipment, we are able to produce non-standard mesh dimensions tailored to customer requirements.
The applications of rebar mesh are very broad — both in building construction (foundations, walls, slabs, floors, columns, etc.) and in civil engineering (roads, bridges, runways, tunnel linings, retaining walls, etc.).
